Massage with conscious awareness enables deep healing and transformation. My intention is to foster a safe and trusting relationship to support and assist a person to breathe and release patterns of trauma and or structural misalignment.
My interest is in the energy of the body and the release triggers that can enable a space for change. My studies have transported me from rolfing, myo fascial release, to energy and polarity therapy. I have an understanding of cranial sacral therapy and am available for consultations Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.
Price $85 per hour - Health Fund accredited

Yoga has been apart of my life since my early 20's and an invaluable aid in my recovery from a serious spinal injury. I studied with Dr swami Gitananda and encourage and support my students to understand and value the breath as an integral part of a yoga practice. I have a passion for encouraging conscious awareness to stimulate the mind body complex for healing and wellbeing. My specialty is structural alignment and pranayama. I am a keen traveller and a lover of places of natural beauty, art, dance and music.
Karen Finck has been practicing yoga since 1989 and teaching since 1997. Karen is a Level 3 certified teacher with the Australian Yoga Teachers association. Karen completed 500hr teacher training with the Yoga teachers network. Also completed training with Peter Scott one of Australia's most senior Yoga teachers.
Karen is a dedicated yoga practitioner who regularly attends workshops with leading teachers from around the world and Australia, she also teaches international workshops with her own unique style and knowledge. Karen has studied different lineages of yoga and sees all yoga as one without fragmentation. Karen believes yoga works through the heart as it is for healing, to help people to remove the blockages that harden the heart, mind and body that may eventually lead to sickness. Yoga helps the individual to embody their spirit and not to go through life fragmented. She also holds a diploma in Traditional Thai massage, the alignment and stretching involved is very complementary to Yoga. Karen is qualified in Physiotherapy Assistance Cert 4, also trained in Reiki and Spiritual Healing
I began yoga in my early twenties, practising Hatha, Iyengar and Turiya yoga whilst working and travelling in Europe, America and Australia. After moving to Bellingen in 2010, I began attending yoga classes with Karen Finck, and since then yoga has truly become part of my life. Yoga for me is a continually evolving journey that brings stability of body, mind and spirit. During practice, my focus is on awareness of alignment and the journey of the breath, and the sense of holistic well-being this generates. I am a regular practitioner of yoga and am currently completing RYT350 Yoga Teacher training in Classical Hatha Yoga through the Australasian Yoga Institute.
I dabbled with yoga throughout my twenties but to be honest didn't really get what the fuss was about. Something clicked when I moved to Bellingen and attended my first class at the Bellingen Yoga Studio with Jo Cunningham, I then went on to practice Iyengar Yoga with Karen Finck. Inspiring teachers and a beautiful studio got me hooked. Yoga helped me stay calm, focused and accepting through the challenges of a high pressure corporate job and raising 2 young children.
My passion is to share the benefits I get from yoga with people that don't consider themselves 'yogis' or think they're not flexible enough for yoga. I believe everyone can gain something from yoga.
